There’s a great extension for firefox and chrome called “Save Page WE”. I tried printing to PDF, and saving the entire page. Neither was a pretty result. However, using the extension everything downloads quick and the pages work perfectly.
I kept a separate journal for the 1502 adventure, but I still would have hated to lose those posts.
I hope to see everyone over at oppositelock.com if I don’t it has been great chatting with you all. If you ever see me out there IRL flip me the bird. I’ll know it’s you.

Good tip. That works well enough. My plan is to save all the good stuff and then upload to my google drive and have a sheet there as a database.

Thank you! Not an oppo person but thank you nonetheless. In case anyone wants a link to the all-Kinja Discord server: https://discord.gg/zrGvXTr . If you haven’t heard of it and are unfamiliar with Discord, it’s like old school chatrooms but our new overlords have created “channels” (rooms) for all the parts of Kinja. I don’t see an Oppo one now but they’ll create it if someone a sks.

I’ve done this (ugh) , and what I think I know for sure is that it doesn’t save the comments.
So I think before you save, it might make sense to make sure all your comments are unscrolled / fully loaded or whatever we’re calling it now ;-)

(Just to clarify, I meant to say that posts saved to disk through my browser’s save function won’t display properly. Posts saved through this extension look great!)

I was actually going to ask you if you have been able to save your posts. So much info !!! Ugh. I hate this shit. This week is crazy but if you need help this weekend I should be able to assist. I hope this doesn’t seem creepy! The two biggest info losses if everything vanishes are (1) your posts and (far behind) (2) the scary stories comments for every year.

I haven’t found a great way to get it into PDF. I saved all of mine via HTML. I must have missed some files as only some images are working (I saved them during the last time we thought we might get shut down.

So I saved the urls on a txt file, pointed save page we to it. iden tified 51 urls. when I click the save page we, and then click. It only saves the first url. do I need a some semi colon or something? I have one url per line
